Our roots lie in supporting the humble cotton farmers; therefore, it was natural for us to choose Fair Trade and become an active supporter of the Fairtrade International system, which focuses on farmers in countries like India who depend on cotton for their livelihood.
With Fairtrade we share common values and thoughts that are an ethical guide for us.
We started with the certification against the Fairtrade Cotton Standard and decided to become a pilot partner of the latest and groundbreaking standard in 2016: Fairtrade Textile Standard. In November 2019, we became the first textile producer worldwide, which received this certification.
